Helping patients regain speech after stroke, teaching them to walk independently after a traumatic accident or returning someone to the activities of daily living — every patient accomplishment, whether small or monumental — are our greatest rewards.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Fulfills the needs of patients, families and community by providing Physical Therapy services in accordance with his/her licensure, certification, training, and regulatory requirements. Responds effectively to new and changing work assignments. Assesses patient needs; selects, administers, and interprets appropriate evaluation procedures
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy is required.
- Current DC licensure as a Physical Therapist or eligibility and evidence of application for DC licensure is necessary. (This includes those who have applied to take the Physical Therapy Board Examination on the next available date. Failure to obtain license on next available date may result in termination.)
- Demonstrated ability to manage general full-time caseload is necessary.
